ReMeMbEr ThE dAyS

Do you remember when recess was your favorite class,

On a sunny day up you would burn things with a magnafine glass.

In P.E. you’d play steal the flag or that big parachute thing,

You’d eat lunch so fast so you could get to your favorite swing.

Back then I wasn’t illegal to play dodge ball,

So you’d throw it hard to the woose kid by the wall.

You would show n’ tell a body part cause you forgot that was today,

They'd make you do embarrassing things like a dance, or do a play.

On the first day you needed crayons instead of binders,

There was always the kids who were the whiners.

Every year you would go on some sweet  field trip,

You’d have to read a chapter book and everyone would flip.

You would trade your whole lunch for your favorite bag of Lay’s

Oh ya i remember, those were the easy days.
